Educational & Professional Services

I provide tailored consultancy and therapeutic support for schools, alternative provisions, and local authorities. By focusing on neuro-affirming practices and sensorial safety, I help educational settings create environments where autistic and neurodivergent children can truly engage, learn, and flourish. From staff training and individual student case consultations to developing whole-school neurodiversity strategies, my approach is always grounded in twenty years of specialist experience and clinical psychotherapeutic insight.

Bringing Specialist Knowledge Closer to the Child

Schools are increasingly being asked to create environments where every child can belong, achieve and thrive. For autistic and neurodivergent students, this means more than identifying a diagnosis or providing additional support. It means developing a genuine understanding of the individual child and considering how teaching, communication, relationships, expectations and the environment can be adapted to reduce barriers and increase participation.

I bring specialist expertise directly into education settings

With over two decades of experience across mainstream education, SEN leadership, autism advisory services and senior service leadership, I understand the realities schools are working within. I can work alongside school leaders, SENCOs, teachers and other professionals to develop practical, strengths-based approaches to supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people.

Experts at Hand

The direction of SEND reform is towards earlier support, stronger inclusion, adaptive practice and better access to specialist expertise within mainstream settings. The government's new Experts at Hand approach is intended to increase schools' access to specialist professionals and support, including professionals working directly with schools and children. My consultancy offers an independent source of specialist autism, neurodiversity and therapeutic expertise for schools seeking to strengthen their practice.
